A New Catering Gig For Dickie Brennan

Dickie Brennan & Co. is a staple to New Orleans as it runs several popular dining spots throughout the city. Now you can enjoy a catered meal from the company at Audubon Zoo, Audubon Park, Audubon Aquarium and Audubon Insectarium.

The Audubon Nature Institute has hired Dickie Brennan & Co. to take over all the private event services and catered meals at each venue. The division that will be taking over the events at the spaces is called Crescent City Hospitality Group. They have an agreement with the Audubon Nature Institute after signing a 10- year agreement.

Other well-known restaurants run by the group are Palace Cafe, Tableau, Bourbon House, Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse and the market and cafe the Commissary. You don’t have to go to a catered event to enjoy their cuisine, as it will also be operating and running the Audubon Clubhouse Cafe. The cafe is open to the public for regular service and can also host private events. The company will also run Acorn which is at City Park.

The several private event spaces will also be handled by the company. These include the outdoor areas which are the Audubon Tea Room and Garden, and the Cajun Ballroom. The walk-up concessions for the zoo is not a part and will still be run by SSA Group.

“As we plan for the future, we want – and our catering guests deserve – an established hospitality leader to create and manage incomparable culinary experiences at our one-of-a-kind venues,” says Ron Forman, CEO of Audubon Nature Institute.
